Sakti3 is a developer of a breakthrough, high performance, low cost and intrinsically safe solid-state battery technology. Founded in 2007, Sakti3 is a spin-out of the University of Michigan. The materials, device designs and manufacturing methodologies were selected and optimized using advanced computational modeling, and lockstep, small-scale prototyping.
Sakti’s technology offers high production rates, and scalable, low CAPEX-to-revenue production methods that have demonstrated very high energy density battery cells. Our aim is to build batteries everywhere – for all kinds of applications.
Beringea exited its investment in Sakti3 in October 2015. The company was acquired by Dyson.
