David Eberly Presents to the Detroit ACG chapter


Farmington Hills, MI - David Eberly, Founder and Senior Managing Director at Beringea LLC was a panelist at the Association for Corporate Growth's (ACG, www.acg.org) May 14th meeting held at Glen Oaks Country Club. Mr. Eberly along with panelists Alan Whitman from Virchow, Krause & Company and Jay Birch from Pinsent Masons presented an overview of the Alternative Investment Market (AIM), the secondary market run by the London Stock Exchange. Founded in 1995, AIM is one of the leading exchanges in the world for growth oriented businesses seeking expansion capital. Since its inception, over $84 billion in financing has been raised on AIM and there are over 1,600 listings representing a variety of industries and sectors. In addition to background on AIM, the panelists focused on the admission process and how U.S. companies could benefit from floatation. Currently, U.S. concerns represent 16% of all AIM listings, with the number of companies incorporated outside of the U.K. increasing each year.
