Director Trevor Hope has been appointed to the new role of Chief Investment Officer and new Investment Director Karen McCormick has joined the team.

Hope, who joined Beringea in 2003, will oversee the company’s investments activites from the company’s London office.  His responsibilities will include investment activities related to the firm's institutional global media funds, Global Rights Fund II, and its UK venture capital trusts, the ProVen VCTs. In addition to managing current investments, Hope will play a key role in the firm’s current fundraising process.  Hope has been responsible for many of Beringea’s top investments, such as i-Level and Gyro International, and promising new investments Optima and Dianomi.

Joining Hope on the Beringea investment team is newly appointed Investment Director Karen McCormick.  McCormick comes to Beringea from Boston Consulting Group, where she led financial and operating strategy development and execution for major European clients.  Prior to that, she was a consultant for Kurt Salmon Associates and co-founded a luxury products retailer.  McCormick has an MBA from INSEAD and a B.A. from Boston University.
