Beringea Portfolio Company Anystream Announces Merger with Voxant Media

DETROIT — Beringea portfolio company Anystream has announced a merger with Voxant Media.

Anystream is the provider of internet media encoding, rights-management, production and other services for more than 700 leading media entities in 38 countries. Anystream provided video management services for NBC Universal's on-demand production of the 2008 Beijing Olympics and works with other well known companies such as CNN and HBO. Voxant distributes licensed content from more than 300 news, entertainment and sports content companies including NBC, Reuters, CBS, MTV News, The National Basketball Association, The Wall Street Journal and the New York Times, as well as 30,000 publishing affiliates worldwide.

This merger creates the world's largest fully integrated platform for the syndicated video economy. The new model eases the process of obtaining licensed content, packaging, categorization, and wide distribution while assuring monetization as it is all done under one roof.
