Beringea announces investment team promotions

(Farmington Hills, MI) Beringea, a transatlantic venture capital investor that seeks to create lasting success for rapidly scaling entrepreneurial companies, is pleased to announce the promotion of three members of its Detroit-based investment team:
Jeremy Werner and William Blake III have been promoted to Vice President, where they will execute new investment opportunities and work with existing portfolio companies.
Werner currently serves as a board director for Beringea portfolio company D3O and as a board observer for dscout. He received his master’s degree in business administration at Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management, where he graduated with honors, and a bachelor’s degree in business from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.
Blake serves as a board director for Beringea portfolio companies Complion, Avid Ratings, Fiber By-Products, and Montage Talent and is a board observer for All In One Medical and Freeosk. He received a bachelor’s degree in finance from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.
John Bonhard has been promoted to Senior Associate. He is responsible for identifying and analyzing potential investments, financial modeling, industry research, working with and monitoring portfolio companies, and deal execution. He serves as a board director for Beringea portfolio companies Popular Pays and Detroit Institute of Music Education and is a board observer for Arrive. He received a bachelor’s degree in finance from the Eli Broad College of Business at Michigan State University.
